Job Purpose and Role

The Business Development role is a sales position with consideration to work remotely for someone who is experienced in the industry. This team member will be 100% focused on pipeline generating activities and prospect development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pursue and Engage New Prospects – You will be working with the Marketing Team to engage the prospects that they hand off to you. You will pursue and engage those prospects to understand how they make decisions, when they might look for services, and build a long-term relationship with them. There is a specific number of prospects that must be engaged per month in this position.
  • Nurture Prospects – Most people you speak with daily will not be immediate buyers. Therefore, it is crucial that the Business Development Manager follows a disciplined process to keep in touch with their owned prospects over time. This is our nurture cycle and the better it is managed, the more your opportunities will compound over time.
  • Set Meetings with Prospects – One of the expectations is that this position produces 5-10 meetings with prospects per week. Your main objective will be to set a target number of sales meetings per month.
  • Marketing – work closely with our marketing team to focus on the key geographics, key industries, and to quickly respond to relevant changes in the commercial market.
  • Field Sales Support – Work closely with your field sales team to develop the territory. Support our Field Sales Team before, during and after meetings are set to ensure the best hand-off and overall experience for the prospective client.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in any business field
  • 4+ years in a sales hunter roles and/or business development related roles.
  • Know how to build relationships with clients or prospects
  • Strong communication, prospecting customer service, and negotiation skills in the English language
  • Experience in cold calling, google maps, and an appointment setting skills
  • Performance oriented and Metric driven Hunter 
  • Sales experience related to facilities management is preferred
  • Experience in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Ring Central/VOIP, and Zoominfo will a great advantage
  • Strong communication, prospecting customer service, and negotiation skills in the English language
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening — expected to make outbound prospecting calls in the duration of shift

Location: Fully Remote

Schedule: Full Time, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM CST

Compensation:

  • $673.08 monthly (Paid Biweekly)
