Job Purpose and Role
The Operations Manager is the key management leader of Entrepreneurial Organization Ignite Division. This position is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic plan of the division. Other key duties include sponsor management, marketing, and member outreach. The position reports directly to the Board of Directors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Develop and implement strategic plans that meet the organization’s goals and objectives created in partnership with the Board of Directors.
- Oversee the organization’s daily operations, ensuring programmatic excellence and efficient use of resources.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners.
Sponsors:
- Cultivate relationships with major sponsors and prospects to ensure they are happy and their needs are being met
- Schedule sponsor presentations for accountability group meetings
- Identify ideal sponsors for the organization and reach out to them
Financial Management:
- Work with the finance chair to build and manage the organization’s annual budget.
- Ensure financial stability and sustainability through sound fiscal policies and practices.
- Provide Monthly financial reports to the Board of Directors.
- Manage Reservations for locations, restaurants and hotels for events.
- Manage all invoices and payments
Program Development and Implementation:
- Set up the location, time and refreshments for all learning events each month.
- Manage materials that need to be sent to all members for learning events
- Set up calendar of learning events for members
- Send out calendar invites for all members for learning events
- Send survey after learning event to all members
New Membership:
- Manage the Recruitment applications
- Receive all applications for new members
- Respond to all new applications and let them know where they are in membership process
- Set up interview times for new member
Governance:
- Set up Monthly meetings
- Manage board goals and updates
- Setup calendar of events for the 12-months
- Work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure strong governance practices.
- Support board development and engagement.
- Prepare regular reports and updates for the Board of Directors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a non-profit organization or an Association.
- Proven track record of successful fundraising and development.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and financial reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team.
Location: Fully Remote
Schedule: 10 hours per week, with once a month requirement to work during CST hours from 3PM – 6PM.
Compensation:
- $300 Monthly (Paid Biweekly)
- With occasional evening and weekend hours required
