Job Purpose and Role
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) – English Speaking is responsible for identifying and qualifying potential leads, particularly within the IT solutions sector or the food, beverage, and hospitality industries. The role involves initiating meaningful conversations with prospects and setting up meetings for the sales team, requiring strong communication skills and a proactive approach in these specific sectors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactively reach out to potential customers in the IT, food, beverage, and hospitality sectors through various channels (phone, email, social media) to generate and qualify leads.
- Engage in consultative conversations with prospects to understand their unique industry needs and position the company’s IT solutions effectively.
- Schedule meetings between qualified leads and the sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and lead status in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to refine messaging and targeting strategies, particularly for the relevant industries.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for lead generation and conversion.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, especially in IT solutions and the food, beverage, and hospitality sectors.
- Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Proven experience in a sales or customer-facing role, ideally within IT solutions or the food, beverage, and hospitality industries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
- Experience in selling IT solutions or services to the food, beverage, and hospitality industries.
- Familiarity with lead generation tools and techniques specific to these sectors.
- Background in consultative or solution-based selling.
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours per week (Shift is within the US Time Zones)
