Job Purpose and Role

We are looking for a strategic, well-connected, and self-driven Investor Relations & Fundraising Lead to help us raise Seed/Pre-Series A funding for our early-stage clean technology startup. Our client is developing a cutting-edge disinfection system that enhances air quality and public health in residential, commercial, and transportation settings. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in capital raising and a strong network in the CleanTech, HealthTech, ESG, or public sector funding landscape. You will lead all investor outreach and engagement efforts, working closely with the founding team to align fundraising strategies with business milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive capital raise strategy for Seed/Pre-Series A rounds
  • Identify and connect with aligned investors, including:
    • Impact and ESG-focused funds
    • CleanTech and HealthTech VCs
    • Development Finance Institutions (DFIs)
    • Government grant agencies and public-private partnerships
    • Corporate CSR initiatives in sustainability or public health
  • Craft and refine investor materials, including pitch decks, financial models, impact reports, and one-pagers
  • Lead investor meetings, communications, negotiations, and due diligence processes
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all investor relations activities
  • Monitor and analyze funding trends in CleanTech, air quality, ESG, and public health sectors
  • Work closely with the founding team to ensure fundraising efforts support go-to-market and product development plans

Key Qualities:

  • Proven experience in raising capital for early-stage or seed-stage startups
  • Strong network of investors across ESG, CleanTech, HealthTech, DFIs, and institutional channels
  • Familiarity with public and private funding sources, including grants and CSR programs
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and pitch development skills
  • Deep understanding of sustainability, environmental technology, or public health sectors
  • Ability to work independently, with a proactive and results-driven mindset in a fast-paced startup environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience securing funding for hard tech, HVAC, IoT, or air purification technologies
  • Background in investor relations, corporate development, or strategic partnerships
  • Experience navigating EU, U.S., or international government grants and development finance
  • Prior success in building CSR-based or mission-driven investor partnerships

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, within Central Standard Time (CST)
