Job Purpose and Role
As a Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be identifying key contacts within target organizations and developing strategies to reach them. You will engage prospects through phone calls, emails, and social media, build rapport, and understand their needs and challenges. Your goal is to set up in-person meetings for our sales team to present our capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research targeted prospects using resources like ZoomInfo, Google Maps, company websites, and LinkedIn.
- Set meetings with prospects to get our sales team in front of the right people at the right time to discuss their janitorial needs.
- Manage and follow up on warm leads.
- Focus on key industries such as schools, industrial buildings, headquarters offices, and medical clinics.
- Analyze outreach efforts and refine strategies to improve effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from prospecting to closing deals.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and progress in the CRM system.

Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of sales experience
- Proficient in using cloud-based CRM systems (experience with Zoho CRM is a plus)
- Available to work 40 hours per week during standard business hours
- Flexible to work from home several days per week
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
- Strong understanding of the business development process
Location: Fully Remote
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours per week (Shift is within the US Time Zones)
