Job Purpose and Role

We are seeking a flexible, proactive Part-Time Business Development & Administrative Associate to support lead generation, client outreach, and operational tasks. You will work closely with the founder to help grow the business through targeted outbound marketing and strengthen internal operations through light bookkeeping and organizational support.

This is an ideal role for someone who is detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable working independently. A background in biotech, finance, or scientific industries is a plus but not strictly required. Strong English communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential new clients, with a focus on companies similar to existing clients
  • Conduct outbound outreach via email and potentially cold calls to generate qualified leads
  • Set up appointments and hand off to the founder for discovery calls
  • Help create or update marketing materials such as pitch decks, website landing pages, or email content
  • Assist with tracking leads, client information, and follow-ups (currently tracked via Gmail and Excel)
  • Provide light bookkeeping support, including reviewing and organizing simple financial records (kept on Excel)
  • Perform an initial audit of historical financial records to ensure books are accurate and up to date
  • Support other administrative tasks as needed to help organize and streamline internal operations

Key Qualities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proven ability to work independently with a high level of accountability and responsiveness
  • Comfortable conducting outbound outreach and generating leads without pre-existing lists
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with basic tools (Excel, Gmail); experience with CRM tools is a plus
  • Knowledge of or interest in biotech, healthcare, or financial consulting
  • Experience with website design or managing simple marketing websites
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping or simple accounting tasks
  • Experience in lead generation, appointment setting, or business development roles
