Job Purpose and Role

The Appointment Setter is a sales position with consideration to work remotely for someone who is experienced in the industry.  The role requires scheduling appointments with clients and prospects, ensuring a smooth experience over the phone

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make 200+ outbound calls/day using PhoneBurner (auto dialer).Call, qualify, and convert lukewarm/aged leads into applicants.
  • Re-engage previously contacted prospects who have shown interest (via email or calls)
  • Guide prospects through the affiliate funding application form.
  • Use provided scripts, templates, and follow-up prompts embedded in PhoneBurner.
  • Tag and update leads based on status.
  • Collaborate closely with the business owner to optimize outreach strategy.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in outbound calling, appointment setting, or telemarketing.
  • Background in financial services, B2B sales, or lead gen is a strong plus.
  • Excellent English communication skills—clear, engaging, and conversational.
  • Resilient and comfortable handling rejection and aged leads.
  • Organized and self-managed—able to meet daily dial targets and keep lead statuses clean.
  • Fast learner with a “listen-first, talk-second” approach.
  • Familiarity with PhoneBurner or similar tools is a plus.

Schedule: 40 hours per week (8 AM – 4 PM EST)
Location: Fully remote
