Job Summary:
We’re currently looking for a Junior Consultant & Business Development Associate that will research target accounts, develop executive business hypotheses, supporting consulting engagements, preparing client-facing deliverables, and helping identify new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Account Research
- Research prospective client organizations, industries, and executive stakeholders.
- Analyze annual reports, earnings calls, investor presentations, and public filings.
- Develop account profiles and executive briefing packages.
- Identify business challenges, strategic initiatives, and potential consulting opportunities.
- Support executive outreach campaigns and business development efforts.
- Maintain CRM records and opportunity tracking activities.
- Assist with qualification and prioritization of sales opportunities.
Consulting & Strategy Support
- Conduct market, industry, and competitive research.
- Support organizational assessments and consulting engagements.
- Assist with Business Physics and Results Leadership analyses.
- Gather and analyze financial, operational, and organizational data.
- Support development of client presentations, reports, and recommendations.
- Participate in discovery sessions and client interviews.
Thought Leadership & Content Development
- Support development of research reports, executive briefs, and white papers.
- Assist with preparation of newsletters and industry analyses.
- Contribute research to AI, technology, healthcare, and federal market initiatives.
- Support development of client case studies and marketing materials.
Operational Support
- Maintain business development dashboards and reporting.
- Track target accounts and prospect engagement activity.
- Support proposal development and opportunity pursuits.
- Assist with internal strategic initiatives and special projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to conduct independent research and synthesize findings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA candidate or recent MBA graduate.
- Prior experience in consulting, business analysis, market research, finance, enterprise software, or business development.
- Experience researching Fortune 500 companies.
- Familiarity with financial statements and annual reports.
- Exposure to technology consulting, AI, cloud, data, or enterprise software solutions.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Interest in healthcare, life sciences, technology, and government sectors.
Location: Remote
Job Type: Part–time, 25 hours per week, Independent Contractor
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, US Business Hours
