Job Purpose and Role
We are seeking a dynamic Lead Generation Specialist to support a unique coaching and consulting business that combines therapeutic expertise, comedy, and neuroscience to transform workplace culture and employee engagement
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Research and identify potential clients in target industries including sales/marketing firms, leadership development companies, coaching/therapy businesses, sports teams, schools, and insurance companies
- Cold Calling: Conduct outbound calls to CEOs, CMOs, and business leaders to introduce our coaching services and secure discovery meetings
- Appointment Setting: Schedule and coordinate 30-minute discovery calls between prospects and the business owner
- Relationship Building: Develop rapport with decision-makers and gatekeepers to facilitate meaningful conversations
- Pipeline Management: Track and manage prospect interactions using CRM tools (HubSpot or similar)
- Market Research: Stay informed about target industries and identify emerging opportunities
Key Qualities:
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication with ability to engage prospects in meaningful conversations
- Personality: Outgoing, personable, and able to incorporate appropriate humor while maintaining professionalism
- Experience: Previous experience in appointment setting, lead generation, or cold calling preferred
- Mindset: Understanding that this role involves “selling the process” of neurological and cultural transformation, not just traditional business metrics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in setting up speaking engagements or consulting appointments
- Background in sales, marketing, or business development
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lead generation tools
- Understanding of business coaching, corporate training, or professional development services
- Ability to articulate complex concepts around workplace culture and employee engagement
